The power and authority delegated by the central Government to the Local Authorities encouraged ULAI to widen the range of international affairs and aspects, which are recognized nowadays by powerful international organizations such as the European Union, UN Agencies and the World Bank supporting and sponsoring important and valuable projects of local authorities.

 ULAI is well known all over the world as the organization devoted to enhance peace, dialogue and understanding between Israeli and Palestinian Local Authorities.

The continuous and constructive dialogue between ULAI (Union of Local Authorities in Israel) and APLA (Association of Palestinian Local Authorities) encouraged the EU, WHO, UNDP, UNESCO, UN-Habitat and international Local Authorities and Peace Organizations to support and promote projects for building trust and understanding.

 The Division of International Relations and Projects is constantly working to achieve, in a very professional and skilled way, the new tasks and challenges in a world of global changes.
